Pug Picnic

Last Saturday was a fun day for Panda. Her grandparents were here for a few days from Iceland and all of us went to the annual Pug Picnic held by the Pug Rescue Network. They did a great job and it was so much fun to see all these different Pugs strolling around.
Here are some pics:

The Hug A Pug booth. Yep, these guys were pretty lucky, they got hugs all day.

This is the best behaved pug I’ve ever seen. She followed her mommy everywhere without a leash and sat down when her mommy stopped. Plus she had this pretty, little dress on. I don’t think Panda found it impressive at all.

There were some rescue pugs to look at and pet (with permission). Non of them were up for adoption at the picnic, you have to fill out paperwork and such. I fell in love with this puggy here, what a sweet face.

This guy dressed up for the occasion. He tried to talk to Panda but she got a little too excited and scared him away lol.

This guy was runner up in the Most Wrinkles Contest. Panda got to compete in this one.

This guy won the Oldest Pug Contest. He was 15! He didn’t look a day older then 10.

Last but not least our little Princess. It was a warm day and she liked to relax in the shadow under this bench.

Ans here she is with grandpa. Doing the infamous Frog Pose.

Time to lose some weight

Panda has gotten a little chubby and we are now carefully watching that she wont eat too much. She stepped on the scale the other day and was not happy.

Panda time

Hello everyone,

Sorry I haven’t been able to update you on the newest Panda news but my personal writers have been too busy making useless stuff for art shows and playing computer games. I’ve been taking a lot of naps on the couch since daddy moved his desk downstairs. I like being downstairs, there’s more space to run around and a big glass door to look out from and bark at people and dogs that walk by.

In June I’m moving to Iceland and the other day I had to go see the Vet and he took two blood samples from both my front legs. It hurt a lot but I was very brave. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me and gave me loads of hugs and kisses and treats when we came home. The Vet also said I was very brave.

On May 10th I’ll be going to the annual Pug Rescue Network picnic here in Michigan. Mommy and Daddy were thinking about adopting a friend from them before they fell in love with me. They have some very, very sweet pup’s there that need a home.

Well, gotta go, it’s naptime again…..zzzzzzz

Clean the House?

It’s not often that Panda tilts her head to listen to something but when I say “Eigum við að fara að laga til?” which means “Should we clean the house?” she nearly always tilts her head. Now I just have to train her to do it for me!

More proof that Panda likes to sleep late……

This is Panda yesterday after I put the covers over her. I almost felt like sticking a thermometer in he mouth and cooking her some chicken soup lol.

Pug meetup

We finally got the chance to do something fun with our fur baby. We’ve both been busy with work and school so poor Panda has been pretty bored. Yesterday we took her to a Pug meetup and she was happy to see all her friends. We were happy to see her spend more time with the Pugs than the people, it’s usually the other way around. Here are some photos:

Panda looking proud on the play set. She climbed the stairs a couple of times, all by herself!

The gang. Panda’s sitting next to her new friend Mia. You can see them gossiping away in this picture.

This is Panda’s new favorite sleeping place. Can you spot the furball?

And finally, Panda with a big frown because there was a power cord in her bed.
